One of my favorite books at the moment is one that i got for free (yes, you read right!) with the ever great Glamour magazine. What book? The cliché that happens to be I heart New York by Lindsey Kelk. "When you're running away from heartbreak, there's only one place to go..." The novel reveals how innocent Angela Clark flees to New York to escape the trauma of ruining a wedding and being cheated on by her fiancé. After getting a stroke of luck and finding a new best friend in the sympathetic Jenny Lopez (a hotel concierge, not the celebrity J-Lo we all love) Angela scoops up two of the dreamiest guys in New York. This "Carrie Bradshaw eat your heart out" short novel is one I'd advise for any girl who asked; it's a fantastically going with the flow plot, that any girl can sit down with the Ben & Jerry's and enjoy.
